My art is informed by my training and experience as an architect.
I bring some of the traditional tools of architecture to my artistic process, and especially love drafting tools and methods that are becoming relics in the digital age. In much of my work, geometric forms reflect the organic patterns of nature. Other pieces give new life to ordinary objects– I enjoy finding finding whimsy and beauty in unlikely places.
I studied Psychology at the University of Connecticut, and then received a Masters of Architecture from North Carolina State University with a minor in sculpture.
